setting throttle body sensor?
Is it true that when you replace the throttle body you also have to reset the throttle body sensor to make sure that it sends the right voltage to the ECU when the throttle is closed in order to maintain proper idle?
What if I just unpluged the sensor, do I still have to reset it or is it compulsory only if I replace the throttle body?

I don't think so, but have a service technician assess.. that's what they get paid for. why ? map senor, and throttle body are one of the areas that is particularly problematic with our cars at times. you can do a search and find many o' chatz about this. so why not play it safe and let the pros handle it ?

Changing the TB "shouldn't" change what the MAP sensor sees. The idle air control "shouldn't" change either, however, the Throttle position sensor "might" need re-calibration due to the possibility that the new TB plate may move through a slightly different length and shape of path. There is a procedure in the Helm manual for doing this but it's too wordy to post here. If it's working well, don't worry about it.
