Default Shop to do AP2 retainer install

Looking for a good reliable shop in the lower mainland shop to do some engine/head work. who do you recomend?

I'm thinking of taking my car to EVO garage, anyone been there before?

^Where are you buying the retainers from?

They're more than $6 here for one whereas its under $2.50 for one in the states.

Pretty big difference when you multiply it by 16 and 32 for the keepers.

thanks for the tip! was just going to buy them from hardtopguy... or from my friends discount from honda.

Also I've heard you have to remove the head to do the job, best place for some Arp head studs?

No, you don't HAVE to remove the head to change the retainers. I was just going to do it myself by following these instructions:

Anyway, ordering in the states was a pretty good idea except the exchange rate is garbage now. So I'm up in the air about what to do since I'm ordering a lot of other OEM Honda parts at the same time.

How about you hook up the friend discount?
