The Tressel's are Burning
Have any of you ever hiked or mountain biked the Kettle Valley Tressels in Kelowna? If not you probably will never get the chance.
The Okanagan Mtn. Park Forest Fire has re-kindled itself, and has started to wreak havoc again.
2 of the Tressels were destoyed today.
2 more were damaged.
and the other 16 are expected to be destroyed by the end of the day.
This is a historic landmark in Kelowna, built almost 100 years ago, that attracts thousands of tourists a year. They are valued at $30 million, and you can be damn sure that the city won't bother rebuilding these babies.
