Default What do you do?

Just trying to start some conversation and get to know people here. Since we have a thread on companies and careers in Vancouver, where do you guys work and what do you do? What did you want to do when you were a kid? This isn't meant to be a pissing contest so no show-offs

When I was a kid I wanted to be an artist for Marvel comics. When I grew up I realized it was way too hard to get into so when I got a bit older I decided CG was the way to go for me. For the last couple years I have been working as a game artist for a local company called Propaganda Games. That's what pays my mod bills

My wife and I are high school counsellors. Several of the people in the local forum have been students in our classes or in our schools... I originally statrted out with a business degree (accounting), but stumbled into the teaching thing and it has turned out to be the best job ever (at least for my tastes).

That's a pretty sweet gig there Pop. I wanted to be an artist for DC when I was growing up [JLA and GL ftw!], but I have nowhere near the talent to do that.

Nowadays I'm working for a casino as security management. I can't believe I've been doing this for 3 years now. Times just flown by, but it bought me an S!

Hellraizer - keep it up! you can only get better. My humble advice to you from what you've shown in this thread is to complete more of your work

rxskillz - Hm... don't think that's me cause I don't remember ever parking there? You'll be able to ID me when I put on new wheels soon

Angelus - It's never too late And I do have to say, X-Men > JLA
