Default Winter Storage

The "S" has gone into hibernation for the winter.

I will be starting from time to time.

What about disconnecting the battery? Are there issues with the car loosing radio security codes etc?

Thx

from what ive read you shouldn't just start it from time to time. either leave it off or actually take it for a drive regularly.

I disconnected the battery last year and didn't have the codes for the stock radio. Thankfully, the guys at Kingsway Honda hooked me up with the reset code.

There are lots of good "storage" threads out there. Here's one of them. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry2397273

Thanks for the link

How do I find out the codes for the radio?

^mine was on a sticker in my service book. Some people say they found it on a sticker in their trunk, others in the secret compartment.

I have no choice as to pull my car out of garage on a regular bases. I fill up tank and add stabilizer when I take my insurance off. But I need my garage for a workshop. I make sure it gets up to full operating temperature everytime. What issues can I have by doing this????

According to Honda. That should be fine as long as the car goes through 2 heating cycles. Whatever that means.

Anyone else have their s2k in hibernation? I'm thinking of it already but some ppl say it's too early. There's this odd warm sunny days that occasionally pops up.
