Default AP2 or AP1 longblock (or good shortblock

Chicago area, 60453

I am looking for a complete longblock, either AP2 or AP1, but prefer AP2.

If AP2, I'd need the wiring harness as it's going into an AP1.

At minimum, I need a clean shortblock (same parameters re: AP2 / AP1).

Let me know what you have.

I have a mint ap1 head for sale. It would be a lot cheaper to buy my head and then grab a shortblock!

mRgSr,

I already have a head if I wanted to go that route, which is why though I'd prefer to buy a longblock for speed of replacement, a shortblock would work, but frankly I'm more suspicious of a used shortblock w/o proper time to inspect it.

Sideways,

I appreciate it, but for that money I can get a mileage appropriate (mine is an 80% track car with 103k miles) F22c.

Have a nice vacation and good luck with the shortblock.

Clark

The Engine harness is the same for an AP2 unless it is DBW. Personally I would buy a short block before I bought a long block. It is just easier to inspect with good pictures.

You should reply to davgoat. There is a few of run running his parts on our cars (SC_Highlander has one of his motors)

Stratocaster,

I appreciate the advice & info (somebody else told me the harness is different, even for the on DBW's, and I intend on keeping the original intake manifold and ECU in place.
