FYI

They make one STB and ETD Combo. It has always had only one mount. That is why it is a combo. So you can stop looking for a new one. They are all the same.

They do offer an ETD only. So to use a STB with it you either have to have a custom bracket made, or stack the two. This may be what you are talking about.

I have owned both.

 

So these were bought seperatly and then just stacked together? are these still authentic J's pieces?

 

Yup you can just stack them and you're good to go. FYI, the combos are rarely stocked anywhere because its so easy to just stack the brackets (and shops like to be able to sell them separately).

However, I believe the newer J's brackets are blue, although the gold may be the newer and the blue older, not sure which came first
