I am also wanting one for my 01 s2000 ( spoon air duct ). This is a great intake, and are the 00-03 air duct different from the 04?

There are some differences to take into account although I believe there is somebody on this board who managed to fit a snorkel to his MY2004.

Is there something wrong with your OEM box/intake? Why the need for an airduct?

Did I say there was anything wrong with it? No, I did not! Just keep it OEM. You will notice no difference or gains with just the duct itself. Already had it (infact 3 of them) and sold all of them. So I have been there done that. Just trying to give you newbies some advice/help. If you want power than go FI or go the hard more expensive route and go NA. Your choice.

honda138 asked the question, I gave the answer. There are owners on this board who have had to modify their intake snorkel to fit on a MY2004.

Your intake looks the same as your buddies because the manufacturer only makes one type of intake.

AEM is the only one I have seen with dyno sheets as proof. I agree looks help!
I have had the Js, Mugen, Spoon, AEM, and Comptech. I would have to say the AEM actually felt stronger than the other 4 but thats on a butt dyno. Mugen with the front bumper combo feels great too but again thats a butt dyno. Spoon looks great but I cant recall any different feeling on the butt dyno. So for proof go with AEM.
