If you're willing to pay me what I paid GFL for the bar + shipping to you, I'll send you my unopened Touring bar. I haven't shipped it back to NC for a refund. You do know that you have to make modifications or not reinstall the stock rollhoops in order for this bar to work, right?

Could you PM me the price? I wanted Hardcore Bar (welded Diagonal) since I would never remove any of the diagonal or harness bar plus it is cheaper too.

Anyway, last I heard was that I should be able to put put the factory hoops back in the car (want to use factory belts) and I also like to cover up the back since I still drive mine on the street but I don't know exactly what I have to do to reinstall the stock rollhoops...do you know?

Thanks

The GFL rollbar thread in the Racing & Competition forum will be able to answer most, if not all, of your questions.

The bar was supposed to fit flawlessly will the S2000's existing rollhoops, however, it seems there was a mistake made in the process. This is why I haven't installed mine. There is no lack of structural integrity, only in how it works with the existing cockpit.

Oh it looks like you have to do a lot of cutting and trimming and culculation to make the stock hoops works....look like an additional 4-6 hours on top of the accual installation time to make it fits perfectly with most of the panels back including stock hoops...

I will look at those thread carefully....the bar installation shouldn't be too bad, but getting the panels (including stock hoops) might be a pain in ass, I have done a couple of rollbar installation in the Miata and it wasn't bad at all
