Going to "Mulderize" ?

If so, having them in advance is the only way to do it. Get all the prep work out of the way and then the actual swap while baking the headlights only takes a few seconds.

An oven and a good set of balls. I just popped my headlight cherry last night.

How do you bake an oven??

What part of the headlight needs baking? The whole thing?

Oops, I read your post wrong.

Yes the entire headlight, you have to soften up the glue so you can seperate the housing and the clear cover.

This is the write-up I used for the ENTIRE process. I would have been screwed without it.

I will be using that guide as well. Sounds like a major PITA but whatever I want the headlight mod.

Did you do the baking with the bulbs and ballast still attached?

Nope I removed the bulbs and ballast. It wasn't hard at all.

As for that T25 tamper-proof bit. I was able to grab the head of the screw with pliers and turn it that way. You'll see what I mean when you get it all apart.
