Try finding a dealer online that is selling a used s2000 with a hardtop and offer them cash for it. Remind them that they will get more money this way than including the top with the car. I found one on ebay that was on a car. I figured WTF and offered them $2k shipped on it with the hardware. They agreed and the top is on it's way to me now via freight. 
I looked high and low for deals to come up and ended up getting proactive. There is one out there, you just gotta find it!!!
