My wife and I presently own a 2001 Honda S2000. The car is Silverstone grey with red interior (black dash). The car has 9715 original miles. I purchased the car from an older gentlemen who bought it new in 2001. Due to an issue with sunlight he never put the top down. I bought it thinking my wife would enjoy the car. She barely drove it over the past few years and was thrilled that the car would rev to 4000 rpm. She is not a gear head by any stretch and was never aware of the car's true performance capability.
She recently asked me to sell it as she just keeps it in the garage. It has never been driven in the snow and got caught in some rain a few times. We have the original set of tires and a new set with about 75% tread remaining. All stock with no mods. Non smokers (both owners). I have had numerous people approach us to sell it but we were not eager to sell.
If the car finds a good home with a nice owner we would be satisfied.
Thinking around $15,500 to $16,000 for the car. I have not seen a comparable one online. If this has some interest let me know. If not no worries. The car is in the midwest (Iowa).

For Sale 2004 Honda S2000 with Hardtop!!

I am selling my pristine 2004 S2000 as I have an opportunity to move up to a CR. You all know the features of the S2000 so I will not rewrite all those items. This 04 is a 10 of 10 and the finest you will find. It has only 6600 miles!! There are no dings, chips and the paint is excellent. The soft top shows no signs of wear and looks like new with 303. The car is only driven in the summer months and has been covered and stored in a garage in the winter. Sebring Silver Metallic with all black interior. The car is stock with exception of the items listed below. The following items make this S2000 unique

• Actually mileage is 6,600 +?????

• This week, Ziebart installed a clear bra on the front bumper, front of the fenders, hood and outside mirrors. Also, the Ziebart Diamond Gloss was applied to the entire car and hardtop + $800

• New OEM tires were installed at 5700 miles. So you have an almost new set of tires with less the 900 miles on all four tires +$900.

• Oil changed this week using Mobil One synthetic and all fluids checked and approved by a Honda Certified Mechanic.

• A new OEM Hardtop was installed in February 2011 by Hardtop Guy. It is Berlina Black and probably one of the last available hardtops +$3,400

This car needs nothing and is ready to go with a hardtop that has only been out of my garage on 4 occasions.

Price reduced to $21,600 firm and I will only accept a cash buyer. No checks. The car is located in Northeast Indiana. I have not shipped a car before, but will work with your shipper. I will work with you on arrangements to pick up or deliver the car. My zip code is 46555.

I am 2nd owner. 1st owner in his late 50's, I bought it with 5800 miles two year ago and my wife drove it as a third car. All stock, no paint, all records. Full fluid flushes and oil changed every 6 mos. I would be surprised if she reved it to 4k. Car runs like a clock.
