Ive been having problems with my ignition switch where i put the key in but doesnt unlock. Only thing i can think of is changing it out. any info on this matter is appreciated . Thank you

 

If you get a new key you will also have to have it matched up (programmed) to your ECU. I dont know anything about the lock mechanism but maybe a locksmith or the dealer could help you out? Did you try searching to see if anyone had a similar issue?
