Been looking at purchasing a hardtop for a long time now. the issue that i am having now at the moment is where to buy my Mugen double sided CF HT from.
I am torn between two garage's either rockstar garage or forbidden USA. both garages seem to have great products and on the forum make great products.
The problem is that most of these posts were posted way back from 2003-2012 so looking for some feedback more current.

I think as far as a double sided CF mugen HT goes i believe forbidden has it cheaper

$1600 forbidden - usa

$2100 Rockstar


My wallet is telling me to lean towards forbidden but i've been reading a couple of posts of horror stories with shipping with them.
At the same time RSG hardtops ive been watching videos of big crackling noises on their hardtops so i'm very uneasy about choosing.
NOTE : I will be driving down from the Bay Area to have them install the HT. I don't trust USPS UPS FedEx DHL

I would appreciate any feedback good or bad with both buyers if you have purchased tops from one of these manufacturers and why thou went with one and not the other.

i got mine from RSG and it has been great its painted GPW though left the sides in cf
