A friend of mine was getting out of my car and broke the plastic door handle so I went to the Honda owner website and it shows that I will need the Passenger side handle assembly. Anyone have one laying around? Also the handle should be a medium gray color.

 

Gonna bring this post back from the dead, because I am thinking about changing out the MY '00 graphite black handle assembly to the newer grayish colored versions found in the MY '02. Was wondering if the 02 handles would fit the MY '00 and whether anyone has done this mod or could provide some instructions. Is there a DIY for this?

 

Are you talking about the inside door handles? I have one of each if you need them.

 

I am talking about the inside handles, yes, the one next to the lock button that you would need to pull in order to open the door from the inside. Do you happen to have the grayish looking one that looks like the MY '02? I don't know what other years they have it in gray. i know for 00 it is graphite black, the same color as the rest of the black door. I am looking to add some contrast by changing out the door handle to a grayish color. If you have those, I'd be interested in buying them off of you. Is it easy to replace, any DIY topics on replacing them?

 

I only have the 00/01 handle. It's very easy to replace. If you're interested let me know.
