WTB: Racing Helmet
www.saferacer.com is pretty good.
you may as well get the SA2000 (i think that is what the codes are for fire proof) helmet just in case you actually race.... you can get by for HPDE stuff with a SA95 helmet (basically a relatively new motorcycle helmet) most of the time. But to race you need the fire protective helmet.
I have a white Bell something that cost me about $300.00... not too fancy but not the worlds cheapest either. It is full face.

Hey Gordan... I have an extra full face that would probably fit you well. I bought it recently, and decided I liked the old open face one better. (Too claustrophobic, besides... the old one is Spa yellow
)
PM me if you're interested.
) PM me if you're interested.
I have a helmet here that belonged to a drag racer friend of mine. He was killed when his alky funny car blew up while he was loading it on the trailer.
By the way, he wasn't wearing it and it's too small for me. It's full face. if you're interested pm me. I know some people are superstitious that's why I mentioned where it comes from.
Personally I think he'd like it if it was used.
