WTB-Silver or Black AP2 w/Red+Black interior
Wanted to buy, I am looking for an AP2 S2000 in good condition, either Silver (preferred) or Black. Would prefer the interior that has the red and black color scheme. These are hard to find so that's why I'm placing this WTB ad. If you've been thinking about selling, read further.
I have been approved for financing. However, the bank has some stipulations that must be met:
- Car must have 75,000 miles or less.
- Car must be model year 2004 or newer (booo!).
- Car must not have "Frame Damage" as reported to Autocheck.com (like Carfax).
- Car must not be priced higher than current Kelly Blue Book value.
- Car must not have a blue / rebuilt / junkyard / scrap / fleet / rebuildable or hail damaged title.
Those are the bank's requirements that must be met in order for the transaction to be valid.
I am in Houston Texas. I would prefer to buy a car locally, but I can also travel to the DFW area or southern Louisiana if need be. Not interested in traveling further than 400 miles to view the car - at this stage. I'll expand my willing-to-travel radius as the search stretches on.
I don't mind if the car has been tastefully and correctly modified, but that will affect the price negatively, depending on what has been done to it.
Please check the Kelly Blue Book value of your car, to get an idea of what I will pay. I've had a few sellers whose cars matched the requirements except for the price - they wanted thousands more than KBB value. That's a no go. I'll pay KBB's fair market value "Excellent" rating, if the car is in fact "excellent", but not more.
Hope that doesn't seem too harsh, but banks are banks, and that's the way they want to finance.
P.S. Don't ask me to pay in cash the difference between maximum KBB value and some higher selling price.
Thank you!
