Default WTB: Trunk Spring Removal Tool

I am looking to buy the trunk spring removal/replacement tool. Used would be great, but new is fine also.

I live in FL and my shipping zip is 32246.

Thanks!

Uhh you dont need this so called tool. All you have to do is bend two tabs back and they pop off. Its about a 5 min. Job. Why waste money on something you dont need?

Uhh...so do the new springs just "pop into place" just as easily without using the tool???

no need to bend tabs just remove the bolts on the trunk lid hinges.

Here is a link to a PDF file of the OEM spoiler install instructions which includes the srping swap using the spring tool:

As far as what JsAP1 referred to in this thread I have no clue what he's talking about.

you dont need a special tool but it might help. i added a spoiler to my wrx a few years ago and had to change for stronger springs. you can do this all by hand but it helps having a friend holding the trunk. so, it doesnt fall on you
