Default '04 winter tires?

This may be jumping the gun just a little, but my '04 will be here soon......

Since winter will be here before we know it (Chicago area) and we'll have the snowiest season ever (cause I'm getting a drop top), I will need to get some tires soon.
I know the car hasn't even hit the streets yet, but is there info on what winter tire/cheap(er) wheel is available?

There's plenty of info on pre '04, but of course they are 16"s

The Blizzak LM-22 at 141.00 front and 166.00 rear for the factory sizes. We are not sure if a 16" will work or not.
If I can help let me know.
