Default 17 or 18 in VOLK LE28N's?

I am about to order a set of VOLK LE28N's Or possibly the CE's in gunmetal on both rims for my sebring silver MY02. I am currently leaning into getting the 17's...
I want the car to look good, but I also need it to handle well. I do a lot of mountain driving in the S since my family has a vacation house up in Big Bear (in the mountains here in Ca.) that I go to alot on the weekends.
Am I correct in thinking that the 18's will not perform as well as the 17's in the twisties?
Sizes:17x7.5 +50 // 17x9 +63
18x8 +50 // 18X8.5 +50 i think??

ANy help or comments would be appreciated! Thanks guys.

i'd definitely go for the le's if you're getting gunmetal regardless. the polished lip looks awesome w/ gunmetals (especially while you're moving). ce's are a little plain for my taste. as far as the size, i would go with 17's because the offsets are perfect and they're lighter. you get a wider rear wheel, which is always a good thing, and you don't have to worry about rubbing. and you are correct for thinking that 17's will perform better in the twisties than 18's.

bump for the best color, SEBRING~!

Hey there TRBOKEV. I am going to get VOLK's for my S this coming week (hopefully) I was wondering, from your post, ur pretty local to me. I am in Orange County CA. Did you get your LE 28N's yet? If so where did you go? I can't seem to find a whell dealer that stock a good assortment of Volk's. I am looking to get the GTN's or GTC's in Mercury Silver. 17'. I'm not going to go 18' cuz it does sacrifice on the handling a it. Also, where did you get the proper offset numbers for the S? Hey if you didnt get your wheels yet, maybe we can hit up a shop together and they can give us a better deal? Just a thought. Please reply. I am needing info on the offset. Thanks!!

I've had 17" and 18"... go with 17"

--better offset
--lighter
--better tire selection
--maintains stock overall diameter

I would go with the 18's just because they look more aggressive. Even though the ride would be rougher on bad roads I would still look into getting 18's.

I can get you Volk

Give me a call if you have any questions and I'll be able to answer all of your questions. From offsets to tire sizes. Also since I"m out of state from you. You don't have to pay for sales tax.
