Default 17x7/8 +45 fitment

Coilovers are coming in this weekend and I don't have time to have someone roll my fenders. Im running 17 x 7/8 +45 with 215/245. If I lower lets say 1.5-2 inches can I get by without a roll until I get my new wheels?

since they are only 7 and 8, I doubt u'll need a roll. Even if u do... it'll be a very very minor roll.

Thanks! We'll see how it goes. I will need to do a serious roll eventually because I will be goin to 8/9 +45 225/255.

Are you dropped? I'm looking to go down to maybe a 1 finger gap.

Remember that it's the Width of the Tires, and the Offset of the Rims that determine the location of the tires reference to the fenders. So, if you change to 8/9 +45 and keep the 215/245 tire setup (which is possible without a stretch), you would have no net effect on the need to roll, vs. your 7/8 +45 setup. Even if you go with 225/255, I think your net effect at the fender is 5mm/.2" vs the 215/245 setup.

Here is a good wheel/tire calculator that will help you to understand the differences between you stock setup/7&8 +45/ 8&9 +45 http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

Honestly with those offsets you wont need as harsh of a roll as you'd think. Just a simple front roll with a little flare and a good solid rear roll/bumper tab relocation and you'll be fine on those offsets/sizes. I run 18x8 +45 and 18x9 +50 on 225/255 Daily Driven and it never rubs, I even have room for a 5mm spacer if I wanted. It's not so much how crazy the roll is it just has to be done right and not half assed.
