Default 17x8.5ET47 on all 4 corners ok?

Hi guys,

I'm looking to run 17x8.5 ET47 wheels with 245/40 17" tires on all 4 corners. Would I have any problems with tires sticking out of the fenders or rubbing etc?

I'm also planning on lowering the car 1" in the future....

Any feedback welcomed =)

John

Not good.

Summing up: Wrong offset for the front, and not staggered. The rear should be OK (very close) but the front would need a 205 or 215 tire to avoid rubbing.

Check out the Wheel Fitment guide sticky at the top of the forum page or in my sig for more detailed info.

Awesome!

Thanks guys!

I guess it's going to be 17x7.5 ET50 and 17x8.5 ET47 for me

the rear is definitely going to rub with a 17x8.5 ET47 as I have the same size but an ET of 51 and I still rub on hard bumps with 245/40 tires....with a 1 inch drop that is....
