17x8 offset 42 & 17x9 offset 45
I am thinking to buy 17x8 offset 42 front and 17x9 offset 45 back this fit to my S2000?
i think to cut the rear offset for do the offset 50?
i can do this ?

either way, yes those offsets will fit your car with modified fenders or if you're high off the ground.
the offset is the distance between the mounting surface and the centerline of the wheel. hence, higher offsets will mean more wheel "inside" and thus tuck in more. conversely, lower offsets will mean more wheel "outside" and poke out more.
