Looking to get new tires for my 18" Gramlights. Daily driven street car with the occasional track and autocross day. Looking for a pretty sticky tire that doesn't sacrifice the longevity of the tire. Price isn't an issue but prefer to keep it less than 230$ per tire if possible. Or am I doing it wrong with 18's and should go a different route with 17's? Any advice is appreciated, thanks !

 

New Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 has really good reviews (Bridgestone RE003 outside of the US). Perhaps the best UHP tire atm. Great street tire.

If you want stickier but less tread life (200-300 treadwear), there are of course many other options in the Max (PSS, S04) and Extreme (RE71, RE11a, ZII, RS3) categories.
