Default 18x8 & 18x9

Hi guys i have found a set of bbs lm replica wheels in the above sizes, now the problem is the pcd is 5x112 and have been told i could use wobble bolts to make it up to the right pcd. I would be interested to know peoples opinions, the car will not be tracked etc its just used as an everyday road car.
Oh and the offsets are 45. Comments welcome.

Thanks

Paddy

We don't have lug bolts, we have lug nuts, so those won't work. If they did have them for lug nuts, I'd suggest NOT using them. If you must, I hear it is possible to have the lug area filled and re drilled in the proper offset.

Meant to say wobble nuts.
For what reason do you say the wheels wont work. Offsets are not too aggressive a lot of people on here have a lot worse. My main question was regarding the wobble nuts and how safe the are. Cant imagine they are any worse than the lightweight alloy nuts that many people run.

Wobbly nuts... Ok, with a hubcentric ring, they may work.

Like I said the car will never be near a track. I had wobble bolts fitted to a car i had years ago and i never had any problems with them its just the s2000 is a different beast.
They would actually be better than what is fitted at present, I only bought it a few weeks ago and it has 7.5x18 all round et45 with 225/40/18. I am trying to get the standard ap1 rims off the guy I bought it off but no luck as of yet.
Ive had an s2000 before and had RO_JA formula 7's on it but always wanted bbs lm's but cannot afford or justify spending the money for genuine ones for a car that is used everyday.

Just seems like you're trying to fit a square block in a round hole. Buy something that is made to fit your car specifically. You'll thank yourself later. Why bother cheaping out on it?

i have heard of these, never used them, but havent heard good or bad of them.

but really, its a different bolt pattern, so either get an adapter made, which is expensive, get the wheel drilled out, which is expensive and sometimes not perfect, or just dont do it.

if you still want to do it, just be careful.

Think I will just give it a miss and wait for something in the right fitment or a cheapset of second hand lm's. If they exist
