There's a reason heavily tracked S2Ks don't sport 19s.. and it's not because there are few available.
Rotational mass and unsprung weight being the most obvious ones. Also, the distance of that mass from axle and it's effects in acceleration and braking. Sidewall flex. Suspension travel. Etc.

most members go with 17's or 18's. I prefer 17 but 19's tend to look good in mesh wheels, but its all up to preference, but the bigger the wheel, there will be more of a performance loss mainly due to weight.

My 19" SSR GT-03 is on the way. I also found Work's XSA02C compatible due to their customisable offset.

Im going 8.5 front and 10 rear.

The only hiccup is find 235/30R19 tires. Most 235 comes in 35 fr 235. Even 225 in 19 comes in 35. So i chose 225 35 for the front. Slightly larger rolling diameter.

I dun see why 19" can't fit. A 17" weighs about 7-9kgs on good rims.
19" is ard 11.5 to 12kg. Moving off will be a little sluggish but with so much power, a split second delay won't hurt. Also, we won't stay stock for long. Change intake, exhaust, testpipe.. what have you.

The challenge on handling will be balancing a good set of coil and spring. the stock is good for 17inch which is 7-9kg. with heavier sprung weight, you need a uprated spring and comparable shocks.

On why 19" is not popular with track, mainly because of weight. And the most practical reason, there is no semi'slicks in the 19" easily available, not in my searches.. I was looking around for the Toyo RE888, Hankook RS2, Yoko A048

Post some pics when they arrive. I'd like to see how they look on the car.

Why do you have to track the car with 19" maybe they aren't his primary wheels.. S2ki get BBS LM, WORK SP1 or nothing hahaha..
