Default $190 For Bridgestone S-03?

Any other cheaper places? I would have put this in the tire & wheel forum, but need a quick response, so I went with the more popular section.

$190 each for Bridgestone S-03 245/45/16?

Gah I don't think I can afford that.

Unless you live in an area with a lot of rain, I'd stick with the S02s.

BTW $190 for S03s seems a bit high. I recently paid $178 ea. for rear S02s including install and lifetime balance. (S03s are usually a little less than S02s)

[B]Try the new FUZION's (made by Brigestone).. !! A SUPER tire at a SUPER price. I read tons of review's and it grips better than the $200 tires in rain & dry. I ordered a set yesterday. a set of 245/45/16 & 205/50/16 were $344.00 shipped to my door. CHECK them out dude!!

Ouch!

Now that Honda and Porsche aren't using the S02 as an OEM tire, it's been discontinued. RIP It's one ogf the best street tires I've ever used, and they're going to be harder to find and more and more expensive.

I was going to buy a second set and store them, but I think I'll just switch to RA1s when these run out. (The fronts are at 50%, so they should all go nearly the same time.)

Get those S02s while the gettin's good! (I think Jim @ Tire Rack has the rears for $169. So Cal Peeps, check w/ Tireguy.)
