Default 2000 Civic DX Hatchback tire help

Does anyone out there have any experience with tires for this particular model Civic? Any recommendations?

I'm trying to find some fairly decent tires for my brother's stock wheels and can't seem to find any decent options. The stock size, I believe, is 185/65-14. Would it be possible to fit a larger size tire to the stock wheels without increasing the wheel size? If so, what size tires would be an option.

Thanks for the help.

You can use a 195/60R14 no problem. There are a lot of good options in this size. Are you looking for more performance, longer wear or better all season. I can help with those answers.
