Default Tire Help

I've looked into replacing the front stock tires to match the rears on my car.

The rear tires are Falken rt 615's

As all of you know, the right tire size of 205.55.r16 is not available for this perticular tire brand.

Will either 205.40.r16 or 215.45.r16 work as well?

What should I expect from different size tires. All suggestions and recommendations greatly appreciate it.

I had 205/40/16's on a civic hatch. I don't think you want to go that small.

Discount tire has a cool tire calculator: It says that a 205/40/16 is 2.42 inches smaller in diameter than the 205/55/16. The 215/45/16 is 1.26 inches smaller.

These tires will lower your car 1.2" and 0.6" respectively and create more fender gap. But since they are not the drive wheels, (unlike almost all other Hondas) your speedo should read the same.

Anyway, I hope this helps you make a decision.
