what would be better on a
17x7.5 et48

215 40 17 or 225 45 17?

I think most would say a 225 front 255 rear is best. That is what I ran on my previous setup with 17x7.5 +50 and I had no regrets.

I would say if you're going to run a 245 on the rear, use a 215 up front. If you ran 225/245 the front tires would be slightly taller and traction would be a little more front biased than either of the AP2 and the CR factory sizes (215/245, 215/255).

Why would you get such a low offset in the rear? Not only is that going to be a hard fit, but it messes with the stagger...pushes rear out too much compared to the front.

The OEM 215 front tires are more like a 195 width though.

I did 215/255 on non-OEM. I actually like this setup.
