Seems to be like this size combo works on AP1 wheels. I'm trying to figure out a way to get some real bang out of a set of AP1 wheels before having to step up to another set of rims (17s at that point).

I understand what kind of tire this is and it won't last long, just looking for some extreme performance. 225 I was thinking is kind of wide for the front AP1 rims, but I hear R888s have really stiff sidewalls, and the front AP1 wheel width is within spec for the 225s.

 

I did it, works fine though I preferred the RA-1's.

Definitely get the R888's shaved.
