Default 245 vs 255

I know someone out there has a pic of a 245 vs a 255 tire. To give people an idea of the tire difference. I have seen the difference in person (when I got my winter tires on) but before that I didnt know. It would help people choose the tire size they want.

Unfortunately I do not have a picture. The difference is 1/3" in width and only 1/2" overall in height.

this time of the 245/40s they sent me compared to the 255/35 street tire on the zhp (which is a BFG KDW2).

not really of any help, the question isn't about how wide the tire is but how tall. the picture is of the width 45/55.

That tire on the left looks like a Vredestein, I had them on MY07 Accord Cp 6MT and they handle nicely. Not a tire that many people speak of on here....

Different tires are going to have different dimensions also. Not all 255/40R17's are going to be the same heith and width.
