Can anyone post a direct rear shot that captures the entire rear of their car with this size tire? I'm curious to see how aggressive it looks from behind the car. Thanks !

That escalated quickly. 275/35 would be the same diameter as stock but it doesn't exist which is why he wants a pic of a 275/40. Not really recommended but people have done it successfully.

I run a 315/35/17 in the rear, does that make any sense to you? What does make sense to you? Just curious what your prerequisite is for a 'sensible' S2000 size tire and what basis you are working from to make that statement, since you appear to have a pretty bold/firm stance on this...

Is there some pre determined notion of yours that a s2000 cant perform better with a wider then stock(255) rear tire? Its almost become a standard for people to run 4 sizes wider up front over stock, so is there some reason why its NOT ok to do the same for the rear and maintain a similar factory tire stagger if thats a desired traction bias? When you have tire compound limitations, the only thing left to do to improve lateral grip is increase the contact patch. I haven't found the line of diminishing returns yet on this platform.

Why not just go with a standard 315? Can you get a good compound in a 305? My tuned NA F22 twist a 315 just fine. No need to be boosted to increase your lateral grip unless your running heavy ass 25-30lb wheels.
