guys over @ cackywheels turned a 17" CE28 into 18" 2pc... yowzers

It would appear they machined the face out and welded it to a step lip 18" barrel set. I'd rock em.

I don't think the face of that wheel works with a stepped lip. Regular lip and they'd probably look fine.

This is how most 2pc wheels are made.. From Meisters to RSZ-R, etc etc.

Looks like the CE28 and Work Meisters had an illegitimate child. I'd have to vote "no" on this one.

The "seem" you see is b/c the center wasn't powdercoated before welding.. It's part of the original CE28 that was milled down..
