Wink ABSOLUTE BEST WHEEL in 18" fitment for s2000?

I've had these wheels for a while now and thinking about a new look. I'm debating on picking up something with a black face, polished lip most likely for a nice deep contrast.

I like rims that have spokes that extend ALL THE WAY TO THE RIM EDGE such as the RUF Porsche rims.

Anyone have recommendations for something really nice if money was no object?

***Please no Mugen rims as I hate those overpriced unsightly rims that look like any other rim....

Right now I have BBS wheels in mind and perhaps Fikse or even another set of Work rims but kinda want to get away from the stepped 3-piece look.

Suggestions or post pics of what you think is the Ultimate s2000 WHEEL!

Please include your offsets and sizing of tires and if you are dropped so we can all compare notes.

I'm running Work Meister S2r's in matte gun-metal:

18x8 up front, +56 on 225/40 Toyo T1r's

18x9.5 rear, +63 on 265/35 Toyo T1r's

thanks
rick

If I were to ever go to 18"s The top of my list would be Work S1Rs and the BBS LMs. My vote goes to the BBS, you just can't go wrong.

If you're looking for something with spokes to the rim, there is always the stock AP2 V.1

The HRE C21s are another set I like, I'm sure you can request the center piece in black.

A lot of people are going to say that you already have the ultimate S2000 wheel, and there isn't much room for argument as these wheels look amazing on your car.

I think the Regamaster EVO is also, one of the best wheels for this car, as well as the MF10s but EVOs never came in an S2000 friendly size/offset in 18s, and MF10s, well everyone knows the story.

I don't think you should change your look, especially for something with a black/polished lip as your matte gunmetal looks great.

Guys, I was thinking of doing something like this Techart Wheel example:

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e8...r/IMG_4302.jpg

(notice how the spokes extend all the way to the rim edge and then finish off the rim with a nice colored lip. Does anyone know of a simliar wheel that fits the s2000?)

I remember Axis sells a wheels called the Halo and Hiro:

http://www.axiswheels.com/whatsnew.php

What do you guys think of the Axis rims? I know the quality is not as good as the Work but if Work makes something like this then I'm all over it

Thanks guys for the comments - actually I don't even know what the Regamaster EVO looks like? anyone have a pic?

btw I already had the Work Meister s2r's in burning black

Regas. May be a little too plain for your taste.

Sorry, earlier I meant S1Rs. The S2Rs look too spiderish Edited.

Haha. I know.

The only rims with the colored lips are the Volk TA editions (discont') and the Axis Halos. I've also seen some knock-offs, but those are not worth mentioning.

Have you considered doing a custom powder coating job? I think the LMs with a Matte black center and polished lip would look great. Kind of the same look Riley had on his G, w/o the colored lip.

Another rim to consider

Those aren't Regamaster EVOs; the shop just puts stickers on there and raises the price. EVOs don't have a raised middle section for a centercap.

In any case, the Axis actually don't look that bad. I do however think your S1 look better.

Steve I remember another member posting that rim a while back - who makes it and any more pics on the actual car?

Those look pretty clean

I've gotten PM's from a few who say to go 17's since the car is much faster that way. I feel pretty solid on the 18's so I'm wondering what 19's must feel like!

Waitin for my boy to give me a quote on the Axis rims
