If so can someone help me whit some pictures to see how they look? The Type S wheels spec are 5x114.3 17x8 and 45 offset.

You really want to run wider rear wheels than front to allow you to better run wider rear tires. S2000 stock wheels are about 1" wider in the rear for this reason.

Do you think if I put wider tires on the rear will work the same?

Running a narrower rear rim will affect the driving characteristics slightly. A stock sized tire will bulge slightly on such a rim. A slightly narrower tire reduces the amount of rubber that meets the road. I can't say with 100% certainty that you decrease the amount of traction the rear end will get. But I can say that going with a more narrow rim in the back will look ridiculous.

I believe the TL wheels all have a 64.1mm bore and the S2k rear has a 70.1mm bore. Those wheels won't fit the rear of an S2k without modification.

He has an AP1 so the wheels will be bigger all around. You will need to bore out the fronts to fit. I would recommend a Big front sway bar like the Saner bar to balance out the handling of having the non staggered setup.
