Default Advice on new front tires

Hey guys its been raining here and my stock s02's up front are so worn down that there is nearly no tread left. I think its time to get some new tires before something bad happens. The last owner of my car put s03's in the back about 6 months ago and they look pretty good. I'm a college student with little money to work with.... So I'm trying to decide whether I should go with some S03s or a different tire that will offer less performance and longer tread wear. A tire shop by my house recomended bridgestone re950's? Anyone have any other ideas or suggestions?
P.S. I don't drive the car too hard... mostly to and from school and work... I do occasionaly push it but never close to its limits

First off I would not recommend the RE950 at all for the car. It is too low on speed rating and handling. If you have the OE 16" wheels take a look at the Fuzion ZRI. In the testing that we did they handled well in both wet and dry and they are a lot less than the S02 and S03.
If I can help let me know.
