Default Advice on Tires

Hi experts,

I need advice on what tires I should be using for my S2000.

I have Volk GT-C wheels 17 x7 front is +43 offset and 17x8 rear is +50.

I have had the rear fenders rolled for clearance and I am lowered on buddyclub racing spec dampers.

Currently the car is fitted with 225mm fronts (45 profile), and 255mm rears (40 profile). The rears are fine, but the front is scrubbing on hard corners, and bumps. I have yet to add neg camber.

Seeing as I'm in the market for new tires, what would be the best front and rear sizing option, to reduce/remove rubbing issues, and improve the handling over the stock 205/225. Should I make the switch to a 215 front? and what happens with the rear etc.

Any guidance is much appreciated.

here is a pic of the car:

I would go with a 215/45R17 and either the 245/40R17 or the 255/40R17 on the rear. You should be OK without any rubbing.
If I can help let me know

How will the handling be affected Jim, with a 215 front and a 255 rear? Or should I just reduce all around to 215 and 245. I only want to reduce width if it means no rubbing.

Thanks for the help.

The best would be the 215/45R17 and 245/40R17. You keep the same stagger as stock.
If I can help with the tires let me know.
