Default Advise needed on alternative tires for S02

The front Bridstone tires of my S are worn off and I need new ones. But what other possibilities are there for the Bridstones. Does anyone has experience with other tires still using the standard wheels

I have no experience with other than OEM bridgstones. I have read on the forums that most non OEM street tires do not grip as well as the OEM S02's.

You get what you pay for. There may be non OEM tires (DOT approved) that work as well if not better than OEM tires, but they will probably cost just as much as the S02's.

If you do go with a non OEM tire, keep in mind that you would need to get a 245/45/16 to achieve the same tread width on the rear as the OEM S02 due to manufacturer construction.

im not running the tires, but i hear good things about them, they are more grippy in the rain so its a little safe, which is a plus.. and i believe they were grippier on dry pavement, so that means better cornering and such... overall the SO-3 is a better tire, IMO
