Default Aggressive stance on stock suspension?

I'm looking to get some new wheels by the end of the week and I'm not sure what to get at all! I only have about $1100 to spend on the rims/tires. I'm trying to achieve a flush look with an aggressive stance without spending $3,500 on ccw's and $1,000 on coilovers. (i would if i could). I'm getting my fenders cut by S~Factor and getting a rear bumper tab relocate before I put the rims on. I'm on stock suspension with tein s-tech springs which give about an inch drop I believe.

Is is even possible to get a flush aggressive look without full coilovers?

Any suggestions on some cheaper rims/tires/camber to run? I'd prefer 18's with a lower offset. I like the xxr 521's and Varrstoen's 2.2.2 but don't want the car to look like a box chevy on 28's since i can't afford coils right now.

Thanks for any suggestions and advice!

those will not be flush... flush = wheel even with fender... those wheels will poke out a lot (what most ricers seem to think is flush)... if you are looking for the Poking out look (I refuse to use the word flush to describe "hellaflush" because it is in fact, inaccurate) then may I suggest a VW or Lexus, or something else that is not intended for high speed cornering since you will effectively destroy the handling. If you go with the poking out look on an S2000 you will be basically stuck with an ill performing car, with only so-so MPG, no real luxury, and no real practicality, at least with a VW or similar you will have better MPG, Luxury and practicality to make up for a lack of decent handling.

What exactly do you mean by having your fenders "cut"? Hope it means "buying a widebody kit" because you'll need it for 18x10.5+22.

And here is the "look" you will achieve. Do some reading and then come back and ask more intelligent questions. Or just sell your car to someone that's not going to ruin it.

I'm not on Coils and it rides like a DREAM. You can PM me for more info.

Your wheel offset choices could use some work though.

Mine, for reference.

I'm a college student... I don't have money to track the car nor do I have a track anywhere near me in Indiana. I understand the s2000 is a performance car but I can't use it for that so why not look nice? Rims are reservable, i'm not doing any permanent damage.

Instead of having the fenders rolled, a member on here cuts the fenders. It's actually better for the car because it retains the cars natural body line.. Search S~factor and you will find some pretty awesome custom s2000 work.

Thanks for the pic of what I don't want. This is exactly why I made this post. wheels are reversible.

Your car looks great. This is the help I was looking for. I used the wheel dimensions off of a few cars I like on here. I was just trying to give some suggestions of what I was looking for. I know the sizes I mentioned would take a lot of fender work. Thanks for the help though. PM on the way!

Rims may be reversible but cutting the fenders isn't. and its not just about the track, its about being able to enjoy the car on a nice winding road. It's about keeping the car looking nice and not like a cheapo ricer, its about not looking like the car is broken. Trust me I am only 2 years removed from college i get the whole on a budget thing, I bought my S2k at the end of my Junior year. For the money you spend on terribly fitting wheels, you could set money aside for tires, and do a whole bunch of autox events. Autox events will cost $25-$50 to participate in, so sacrifice one night at the bar a month and you've payed for it. You will learn to truly enjoy this car, while not risking breaking the car only, eating tires faster. But, for the price of ridiculous looking rims and 1 set of tires for them, you could easily have 3-4 sets of oem sized tires. Plus once you see what the car is truly capable of, and talk with people who really truly do know about modding cars with truly functional mods. Trust me, at best you find a new and relatively affordable hobby and a new found appreciation for your car, and worst you learn some good driving skills that will make you safer and you will truly understand the car. Seems like a win win to me. Look I am not trying to be a dick, I'm just sharing my honest opinion based on my experiences which happen to be applicable to your situation.

I appreciate the input but as of right now I'm not interested in racing the car at any sort of autox. Since everyone is going to just flame the wheel specs I posted I'll just remove them. I really just wanted to find out if anyone had achieved a nice stance and flushness not on coil overs. It's not like I'm wanting to get hellaflush and put 215 tires on an 11 inch wheel.

As for the cutting of the fenders... look up s~factor. His work is top notch.

Thanks for not being a total dick like most people on car forums.

@Froth .. your inbox is full but feel free to pm me your specs!

You could get spacers for the OEM wheels and get them flush.

I saw that some people have done that on ricks "quest for flushness" thread. I kind of thing I want 18's though.
