Airless Tires

These are apparently something Michelin is working on - they were on a car at the Philly Auto Show

So much for police spike strips

old news. I wonder how its coming along though. Other than being really ugly they seem pretty useful. They might do well on trucks in harsh conditions? probably expensive though.
