Alignment Suggestions
Hey guys. If this is in the wrong forum the please direct me to the correct one, thanks. I have a stock '03 with Hankook RS-2's on all corners. I recently got the U.S. factory alignment done on my car and it just doesn't feel right to me. It doesn't suit my driving style much. I would like something a little more "aggressive". I would like the car to rotate more around corners and feel stable throughout the corner. The only alignment specs I can find on this website are full-out autocross race specs or the UK Alignment. I read that the UK Alignment is not for "performance" but for optimum safety on the streets. My car is my daily driver and I will be attending a track day in about a month and will be using my car as a daily driver and a track car. If anyone has any alignment specs that you can suggest that would be great. Thanks guys.

Ohh...and I do the same with my car, autox and hpde try to once a month...I'm running the Fuzion ZRi tires though.
Personally I think this is a good alignment for a daily driver that goes to the track. I can get the car to rotate with a little throtle and it also stays very stable from what I feel.

^^I think you switched your camber specs front to rear.
Front is -1
Rear is -2
When I had mine done we went with -1.2 front and -2 rear. Next one I'm going to do -1.5 and -2.5 if not more. I don't care about camber wear on the street tires though.

Really...huh? thanks Ryan.
It seems to work out for me...I should let you drive it and see what you think. Maybe with the cambers switched I get a little more twitchyness in the corners (I notice it can brake easy but if you know how to control it its ok) more traction in the front than the rear?

Oops, I thought you just typed them backwards. That's really how you have it?
With your springs (1.5" drop all around, correct?) it makes a huge difference on what may feel "right" when it comes to alignment specs and normal driving. When you're on the track later this month you will be more likely to oversteer so be REALLY careful coming into 1!!

So,
Front:
-1.000 degree camber / 0.000 degree toe / 6.000 degrees caster;
Rear:
-2.000 degrees camber / 1/8"(3.175mm) minimum to 1/4"(6.350mm) maximum toe in
Do I have that correct?
