Default Am I doing this right?

Looking to get some summer wheels. Had my eyes on some Rota Torques' with these following specs.

Been using the willthisfit.com site to see what tire size I would need. Right now I got a stock AP1 with stock wheels and factory spec Continental Extreme DWS tires. Using those specs as comparison, I played with a few number to get more or less the same setup but in a 17" version. Here's what I came up with:

Front

Rear

**Also, I plan on installing eibach pro lowering springs using stock shocks. Can I still run these size tires if they are indeed correct or will I have to go back to the drawing board?

These should fit just fine. I would personally try a slightly wider rear wheel if possible.

Like a 8.5 at least? I know others recommend a 1" difference for AP1s. This car would be daily driven, no auto-x or anything.

^This and yeah if you can do an 8.5 or 9 inch wide rear it'll be better.

Gotcha, last question, if I can't find a pair of 8.5 torques'. Wouldn't getting set of 7" fronts and 8" backs be the same?

Aside from clearance issues, a 235/40-17 wants to be on an 8"-9.5", 7.5" is a bit narrow.
If you wanted to run 235/40-17 fronts with 245/40-17 rears, run the 17x8 +48 all around. But clearance might be an issue up front....

7" ~+45 fronts, 8" +48 rears, with 215/45-17 fronts and 245/40-17 rears should work fine.

Enh I guess it won't make a huge difference. I just like to stick to AP2 OEM sizes or wider for a wider range of tire sizes. If you do at least an 8.5 you can run a 255 which gives you a little more tire.

I based my numbers from the stock AP1 wheel/tire combo. Didn't try using AP2 oem wheel/tire specs because I thought the AP2 suspension setup might be different since they come with 17" already. If there isn't any changes in the suspension between the two gens, can I put on stock Ap2 wheels with factory tire sizes and be fine? No rubbing?

There were some suspension changes, but none that affect wheel/tire clearance. As far as wheel/tire fitment go, AP1 and AP2 are identical.

Short answer: YES, of course AP2 wheels/tires fit
