Default Another "is this going to fit" thread

They currently have a 225/45/17 tire on them. I know the rear will have no problems since its already been modified to fit aggressive setups like this one and I was thinking of swapping out for a 255/40/17. The front I am concerned about.

Any input on tire size and modifications I'll need to do for the front? pics of this setup would be awesome as well if anyone has some!

Thanks

Here is a 17x9 +45 with 235 tires and barely rolled fenders. You can see it definitely does poke...I replaced all the fender clips with zip ties. I know it was rubbing over large bumps on the highway but seemed to be ok (stock suspension though). I had 255s in the rear.

Hope that helps a little.

It works and doesn't really poke depending on camber and how aggressive you get with your front fenders

I'm only on TEIN springs, I don't think they give enough camber to reduce the poke on a low 40s offset wheel. Anyone have pics of S2000's on low offset wheels with springs?

Go get an alignment and see how much you can get at that height. With your caster maxed out you should be able to get close to -2 degrees. if you give up some caster you will be able to get more negative camber.

Or buy some camber joints. SPC makes some cheap ones or you could get the nicer Js Racing S1 or L1.
