Default Another Mixing Tires question!

Yep another mixing question....I've read what's been posted about s02's and X-brand on the rear. But i wanted to know about the opposite.

A low performance tire on the front and higher performance tire on the rear. In my case, i have es100's on the frtons and hankook rs2's on the rear. I'm thinking it would cause the car the to understeer a bit. But i'm sure it's better than having all 4 es100's on. Any opinions...

btw - Also, i don't plan on using the above setup for anything than temporary...but it was easier than buying a complete set of tires.

Sooo with that in mind. which front should i get. the rs2's in 205/55/16 or the 225/50/16 for the fronts? I'd rather keep the rear end from kicking out.

The setup that you want to run temporarily will induce oversteer.

The rear of the car will only kick out if you are driving the car at or past its imits although the safer bet would be to run 205 up front.

The problem with mixing tires is sometimes you don't get to choose when you drive at the limits. Like when you are driving down the road at 50 mph. minding your own business and someone pulls out in front of you. All of a sudden you went from cruising to the limits in a split second.
You know that saying, it is OK till somebody gets hurt.
