Default Ap1 16" Tyres

Just thought I'd share this with all Ap1 owners who agonise over what tyres to get, given that S2k spec S02's are not available anymore.
An old topic I know, but I've only had my ap1 for 3 months so still getting to grips with it.

Thanks for your enquiry.

Having spoken to our Technical Department I can confirm that The RE002 is the recommended replacement for the S2000 & is available in 225 50 16.

I hope that this helps.

Kind regards,
S. Gulliver

This was a reply from Bridgestone. I have re002's up front which feel great. Avon's on the back (225/16) which are ok but slip to easy and feel a tad soft. So I'll get Adrenalin re002's on the rear. [attachment=58749:image.jpg]

The rs3 is awesome. As long as it's available, I'll be running them.

I just picked-up RE11's at Costco (4) for $652.00 installed ('02 AP1 stock). Fantastic tire. Far superior to the S02's and cheaper too!
