Default AP1 Recommended Tire Size

I'm going to get AP1 rims,

Front:
16" x 6.5", +55 offset, 205 tire
Rear:
16" x 7.5", +65 offset, 225 tire

looks like the ap1 specs,

Do you guys go wider tires?

205 for front,

245 for the rears?

What do you guys recommend thanks

thanks for the link, looks like front are 205 55 16,

but rear looks like if you dont go oe it should be 245 45 16,

I'm using these tires only for daily driving,

I'm putting on all season tires, Do you think 225 50 16 will be fine?

thats the problem with ap1 set ups there are no real good tire sizes,
i found 225 all around works very well. on stock rim sizes
there are not alot of tires in 245-255 in 16"
some of the guys i race with are runnning a 245 size all around on 16"

my current set up, i am running a 16/50/225 f- 16/50/ 255 rear hankook 214 in a stock scca auto-x
this set up works awsome!

IGNORE THE STICKIE.

You have a few options, but the best tires and greater selection BY FAR in in the stock sizes: 205/55-16 front, 225/50-16 rear.
You could also go 205/50-16 or 205/55-16 fronts with 245/45-16 rears, but selection is severely limited.

The 245 rear size, while being closer to OEM tire tread width, is not REQUIRED although the stickie pretty much insists on this.
There is FAR MORE to tire performance (particularly for street usage) than tread width dimension.

The stickie is counterproductive and should disappear, IMO.

The reason I got these ap1 wheel is to put tires that will last 40- 60 k miles, and put the good tires on my other rims, planning on putting on the toyo versado LX or the proxes TPT on the ap1 wheels, they should be good commuting tires

Looks like i'm going to go 205/55/16 225/50/16

thanks

front rim is like 6 inch, and the rear is like 7.5 rite?

Would the 225 fit on the front and rear rims?

Also If you could fit 225 all around on the stock setup, could you rotate them back to foward?

Thanks

245 is not going to give the best contact patch since the wheel isn't wide enough.

Don't run the same size front to back...upsets the handling balance.
