Default AP1 wheels on a AP2

I have a nice set of AP1 wheels and i was wondering if these smaller 16" wheels with 205 in the front and 225 in the rear will cause strain on my F22?

I run AP1-size wheels on my winter tires, there's no problem at all.

less strain..less rotating mass, though oem offsets will make your handling suffer.

AP1 and AP2 offsets are the same, so I don't see how that would affect handling...

Handling will be similar with slightly less ultimate dry grip (on the same tire make/model) due to less tread width.

No more "strain" on your engine, AP1 and AP2 tire diameters are nearly identical, rpm at speed remains approximately the same.

It will change the gearing ratio, thus making it feel like you have more gear. Stock 4.1 > 4.3/4.4

It will NOT change the gearing ratio. The AP1 and AP2 tire diameters are near-identical, the AP2 tires being 1% smaller in diameter. So with AP1 tires you'll be geared ever-so-slightly taller, as if you went from 4.1:1 to 4.06:1. Not many people would notice that even with GPS.

17's and 16's will give you a noticible gearing change.....thats the end of that. But it really depends on the rubber you put on the 16's when it comes down to it.
