AP1 Wheels Painted Gunmetal :)
On Thursday I had my second set of AP1 wheels painted. I decided to have them painted a BMW color #400 (stahlgrau) [When my painter was mixing the paint he said it was the most expensive paint he had ever mixed, it had 200grams worth of pearl alone 
] . They were prepped with red scotchpads, and a a couple layers of jet black sealer were laid down before paint.

Now the only problem I have is whether to mount my auto-x tires on these ones or my other set

I will post pics up of them on the car once I get my tires mounted onto them. It will be fine with heat no problem, and rocks and such we shall see, my painter mixed the clear so that it would be the most resilient as it could be for the wheels, but only time will tell how much of a beating it takes. He did paint my moms hubcaps a similar colour over a year ago, and even through our harsh winter there is no damage to them yet
