ap2 v1 rims
hey guys
have stock ap2 v1 rims on my 07 silverstone with minor curb rash (80% tread)
not in any hurry to do any options right away just testing the waters
thinking of 3 routes i might take any advice or offers would be appreciated
option 1: send them out to get fixed and polished
option 2: send them out to get fixed and powdercoat (colour?)
option 3: Sell or trade them for new rims
other factors: will be lowering the car forsure(slamming that bitch), have a hella flush look (so if i keep stock wheels will be getting spacers,
cf parts eg; lip, hood and diffuser... if anything else you guys can think that may effect decisions in options would be great just ask !
P.S just asking for opinions and will except all and in the end it is my car and will do what i want so dont hate or talk shit
other than that reccomend away
thanks!!!

There are lots of nice aftermarket rims out there, but I personally love the look of the stock AP2 wheels! Just like you, I have AP2V1's and I'm actually planning on using Plasti-Dip on my wheels. It's definitely not a permanent way to have different colored wheels, but it's very inexpensive and easily changed if you end up not liking the color.
If the OEM wheels weren't as nice looking as they are, I would definitely say go aftermarket. I think keeping the stock wheels is a good choice especially if you are planning on a lot of modifications in the near future. Save the money and put it towards that new lip and hood...
